I just want to thank Travis, Keith and the crew at Brown Motor Works Clemson Rd that worked on my Mini. I am still hauling my 2012 Mini to Charlotte for basic services under contact for another year +. My Mini though did need to have some work done due to the motor operating in low power mode and the check engine light coming on. It took a little while to isolate the issue entirely and now my car runs like new. They treated my car and myself like family. I believe the cost for parts and labor were fair and they kept in touch with me every step of the way during the process. Though it took more than one visit, I feel both my car and myself were well taken care of. I know where I will be going for future Mini needs as I hope to have her for a long time. Tony - and the rest of the staff - was very nice. Treated me and my car with respect. And I was able to pick up my car that afternoon, which was fantastic. I had a minor issue - they had drained/replaced all the fluids - my coolant fluid level notification came on while driving home. I brought the car in the next morning, and they took it immediately and topped off the radiator for me. This is the first time I have taken the car anywhere besides the dealer since it was new - so the service and the way my car and I were treated was extremely important to me.

I am new to the area by about 6 months. I had a difficult time finding a shop to work on Volkswagens. Finally when I called Brown, they were very friendly and of course took care of my issue. They also did some other checking which brought about a few other potential problems. This is a good service, but be prepared to open your wallet. The labor is cheaper than the dealership, but higher than a shop on the corner. But if you have a higher end car, the corner shop might not work on it or do so properly. That's the choice you have to make. Overall, friendly, clean and they will call and tell you everything that needs to be fixed. I will return and would recommend them.
