Great working with Brown Motors! I was in Columbia over the holidays and had to take my car in after it starting having trouble on the Interstate. Brown Motors came highly recommended. They were pleasant to work with and quickly fixed a big issue in my car in time for me to travel back home. I just want to thank Travis, Keith and the crew at Brown Motor Works Clemson Rd that worked on my Mini. I am still hauling my 2012 Mini to Charlotte for basic services under contact for another year +. My Mini though did need to have some work done due to the motor operating in low power mode and the check engine light coming on. It took a little while to isolate the issue entirely and now my car runs like new. They treated my car and myself like family. I believe the cost for parts and labor were fair and they kept in touch with me every step of the way during the process. Though it took more than one visit, I feel both my car and myself were well taken care of. I know where I will be going for future Mini needs as I hope to have her for a long time. Great service, professional, acceptance pricing and precise communication. They were clear on what need be done and sent photos to support and did not try to sell me on additional services. The only downside, the loaner car was definitely an much older model car and not what I have come to expect however, I would absolutely use them again.

I took the car because I thought there was a brake problem. They performed a thorough systems check, complete with pictures, as part of their normal routine. Turned out to be a different problem, which they fixed that day. There are other things to be addressed, and I will take it to them to correct them as my budget allows. They provided me with a loaner car, which was a huge perk. It allowed me to handle this all by myself and not need a “ride”. The staff are all professional and courteous. Both the service rep and the technician kept me informed of what was going on the whole time. Best auto service I’ve had in years.

Very professional staff who stayed in communication regarding the services needing to be performed. I received texts messages that also contained photos. If I had any questions regarding the repairs the office was able to answer them, they were very professional & knowledgeable. Their prices are hands down better than those at the dealership. Brown Motor Works has gained a new customer :)

My car had a catastrophic failure when the serpentine belt failed due to a water pump with worn bearings. I called several Columbia and Lexington Beamer service shops, and felt the most comfortable dealing with Brown Motor Works Northeast and Kyle. This was my first major service experience with this car, and I wanted the work done correctly and thoroughly. My repairs were done quickly, accurately and affordably. I am soooo happy to have my little roadster back, as I had forgotten what it was like to zip through traffic and drive a fun car - complete opposite of my truck. I am grateful for the good experience I had with them, and although I don’t want major service issues popping up very often, when they do, I’ll be back.

You know the age old saying... “You get what you pay for”. This was the case when I took my VW Passat through “Take 5 Oil Change”. After they completed my oil change, my oil light immediately came on and they had no idea what they did or how to fix. So I took my car the Browns and they fixed the issue. They also informed me that “Take 5” also put in the wrong filter. Lesson learned and it serves me right for trying to safe a dollar. I’m taking my car to get oil changes at Browns from now on.
