Great working with Brown Motors! I was in Columbia over the holidays and had to take my car in after it starting having trouble on the Interstate. Brown Motors came highly recommended. They were pleasant to work with and quickly fixed a big issue in my car in time for me to travel back home. I just want to thank Travis, Keith and the crew at Brown Motor Works Clemson Rd that worked on my Mini. I am still hauling my 2012 Mini to Charlotte for basic services under contact for another year +. My Mini though did need to have some work done due to the motor operating in low power mode and the check engine light coming on. It took a little while to isolate the issue entirely and now my car runs like new. They treated my car and myself like family. I believe the cost for parts and labor were fair and they kept in touch with me every step of the way during the process. Though it took more than one visit, I feel both my car and myself were well taken care of. I know where I will be going for future Mini needs as I hope to have her for a long time. Very friendly with awesome customer service. The online update was not updated through out the week. My car stayed for 6 days and no update online. I received a call the same day I dropped my car off that a part had to be ordered and would be there on next business day. So after I did not receive a call or the online information was not updated, I called on day 6. I called at 7:30 am and I was told they were still waiting on the part. I then received a call at 9:45 that my car was ready for pickup and the online system was updated to say ready for pickup. Everyone has told me, they forgot about my car because I was a nice & easy going customer. I just hope that is not true, because I plan on using them again.

Had alarm go off for collision warning system. Called and Brown’s helped me get the alarm turned off and assess the car to be safe before taking it in. The battery was low because the alternator was failing. In addition, a sensor on one wheel for the collision warning system had failed. Browns did a thorough diagnostic of the car and did some needed maintenance too. I like their diagnostic process because it identifies issues before they become problems on the road or catastrophic like a transmission failure. Browns provided a loaner and stayed open a little late so I could pick the car up after work. I get a text at various steps throughout the process and they provide excellent advice. My car has about a 168,000 miles on it and I am confident that it is safe to drive across town or across the country.
