Great working with Brown Motors! I was in Columbia over the holidays and had to take my car in after it starting having trouble on the Interstate. Brown Motors came highly recommended. They were pleasant to work with and quickly fixed a big issue in my car in time for me to travel back home. I just want to thank Travis, Keith and the crew at Brown Motor Works Clemson Rd that worked on my Mini. I am still hauling my 2012 Mini to Charlotte for basic services under contact for another year +. My Mini though did need to have some work done due to the motor operating in low power mode and the check engine light coming on. It took a little while to isolate the issue entirely and now my car runs like new. They treated my car and myself like family. I believe the cost for parts and labor were fair and they kept in touch with me every step of the way during the process. Though it took more than one visit, I feel both my car and myself were well taken care of. I know where I will be going for future Mini needs as I hope to have her for a long time. Been a few years now of quality service for my Mini. They even helped solve an electronic issue that required quite a bit of troubleshooting. Everyone was very patient and openly communicated throughout the process without charging for the extra hours and visits needed to solve the same problem.

Pros: Fast, highly responsive service. High tech invoice and payment system. Cons: Insanely high prices. $152 in labor costs alone to replace a battery. $500 for the battery. Granted: this is a Volvo we are talking about, but those prices are idiotic. Took it here to avoid getting gouged by the dealership. Got gouged anyways. *edit* Brown has responded to my review and I am unable to respond in kind, so I will edit my original review. Thank you for the response. I have no complaints about the work that was done or the quality of service. It was top notch. My only complaint was with the price. And that comes with owning a Volvo, I suppose. I have changed my review to 4 stars as I feel maybe 3 was a bit unfair.
